Welcome to the unofficial mid-summer assessment.

If you’ve experienced three or more of these, congratulations…
You’re officially having a July.
🌡️ You walked outside and immediately questioned every life decision that brought you there.
“It’s just a quick trip to the mailbox,” you said.
Five minutes later you’re sweating like you ran a marathon.
🧊 Your drink has melted faster than you could drink it.

You spent $7 on an iced coffee.
Nature said, “Best I can do is lukewarm.”
🛒 You went to the store for one thing…
…and somehow left with snacks, paper towels, a plant you didn’t need, and absolutely not the one thing you came for.
Classic July behavior.
🦟 You’ve lost at least one battle with a mosquito.
They don’t care about personal space.
Or bug spray.
Or your plans.
😴 You keep saying you’ll go to bed early…

Then suddenly it’s 11:47 p.m. and you’re watching videos of baby goats wearing pajamas.
Again.
🍉 Dinner has officially become…
Watermelon.
Chips.
Or whatever you can find without turning on the oven.
No shame.
🧺 You have a laundry chair.
You know the one.
Not dirty enough to wash.
Not clean enough to put away.
It’s living its best life.
🕯️ You’ve reached the point where lighting a candle feels like a tiny vacation.
The house instantly feels calmer.
The day feels a little lighter.
Your to-do list is still there…
…but at least it smells amazing while it waits.
☀️ Final Results
0–2 signs: You’re suspiciously put together.
3–5 signs: You’re having a perfectly normal July.
6–8 signs: Please drink some water and take a break.
All of them: We see you. We are you.
July doesn’t have to be perfect to be memorable. Sometimes the best summer days are the ones that include lounging by the pool, ice cream and popsicles, late sunsets, unexpected laughs, and finding a few quiet moments to recharge.
So if this month feels a little chaotic, you’re in good company.
Now excuse us while we go rescue another iced drink before it turns into flavored water.
Happy July ❤️
